Low Quality Windowed pitch/time algorithm

Hey Tim, check out Copula from QuikQuak, it sounds AMAZING! Retains lots of transients and really separates pitch and time. Currently it's just a demo and is probably patent pending, and will soon be available for licencing! It might be a great idea to add this to one of the time stretching engines in Reaper, along with your special technique for windowed algorithm!

Sorry ED I've only checked it out briefly because I'm usually on Mac........and then I forgot about it :o It really does preserve the transients though, that's for sure! I'll have a more in-depth listen to it compared to the existing Elastique algos soon, but it sounds like a great idea to me! If it would be possible for Cockos to purchase a license and use it (similar to the Z-Plane arrangement I imagine), that would be excellent, as long as it didn't affect the price they have to charge for Reaper very much.

Extreme time stretch would make a great add-on to reaper :-P
