Ram & Paging file Questions

okey! Thanks for letting me know that. I'll be sure now to take the paging file off of my audio drive and set it "fixed" in my c drive. This is for the set up for my 2 gig ram i have now. When the time comes when I upgrade to 4 gig i guess then I'll just let "system manage"? Being as large as it ...

Or just run with no Page File. BTW, Digidesign recommends a Min and Max Page File of 1024. Cheers,

If you are using Windows XP 4GB of RAM is useless. Windows XP MAX Ram is 4GB but then the system reserves some addressing space for System devices soyou will only ever be addressing 3.5GB max sometimes even less. I run Windows XP with 3GB of RAM and it's all okay.
