H.264 File Splitter

Hello, I am looking for a tool that can easily split H.264 / MP4 Video Files. Like I have a 300 Mb H.264 File and want to split it in three equal parts. Every part should work standalone and should be able to be joined again. The splitters I know (Boilsoft etc.) don't work with H.264 MP4 Files. any Ideas? Thanks Frank

MKVmerge GUI has an option like that. You can split depending on size and you can set a time where it has to cut. look under the global tab

are you talking about .mp4 or raw .264 files?

first of all thanks for the replies! -> Bond: mp4 files, coded with Sorenson Squeeze and either the Apple AVC H.264 or Sorenson AVC Pro Codec -> tha_reaper: ok installed it tried to do it, splitted it fine but now I have (I assume) matroska files instead of MP4 / H.264 Files. And the matroska files don't play in quicktime... How do I get them back to MP4 ?

You can use Yamb to produce a MP4-file from a mkv-file.
