Newbie stuck with Blue Icicle XLR to USB

Hi, I created a thread here: but got no reply :-( I'm fed up of Cubase and want to get into Reaper but need to know I can get this Blue Icicle gizmo working before I buy Reaper. Help, please! Cheers, David

David: It appears that this gizmo is essentially a self-contained preamp and audio interface. I'm assuming there are drivers for it that you have to install. Once that's done, it should show up as a device in Reaper. You should be able to find it in the Reaper Preferences dialog. At the left side of that dialog box you'll see the Audio

Did you ever figure out how to set this up? I have one and have used the Direct Sound and Wave Out audio system drivers which works, but man the latency is bad for direct monitoring. Don't suppose it's possible to set this up with ASIO4ALL?
