Inserting plugins into session using Reaper API

Hi everyone. I've just started using Reascript and I'm wondering if there's an API to insert VST plugins into a session. Also I want to be able to disable/enable plugins, bypass, remove and/or move to another track. Lastly, I want to be able to load a session and scan the different plugins already inserted in the session in order to "map out" what plugins are used in the session. Thanks!
