Trading style for workers

MessageAuthor

What trading style suits someone with a regular day job who can't monitor charts constantly? I can check markets in morning before work and briefly at lunch, but I can't sit watching screens all day like some people apparently do.

Swing trading was practically designed for your situation. Positions held for days or even weeks mean you're reacting to daily and weekly charts rather than minute-by-minute price action. You set your entry, stop loss, and take profit levels, then let the trade run without constant supervision. This actually removes many emotional mistakes that come from watching every tick.

Tried day trading while working full time and it was absolute disaster. Missing key moments during work hours, making rushed decisions in lunch breaks, checking phone under table during meetings. Eventually found swing trading and it completely transformed my work-life-trading balance. Now I spend maybe thirty minutes in morning setting positions and review again in evening. Here's where I restructured my approach: https://forextides.com/en/3k-investment/
