Mo, I've seen the pics etc and got the gun out. Makes me happy to be out in the countryside. From seeing the car before the damage was caused it looks a good one. With that length of MOT to run I would be looking at getting the panels replaced - do what I could myself and then use a local repair shop for the rest. Even without a paint job it would still be a good serviceable motor. Perhaps if 'multi coloured' it might not be such a choice target. If you were keen on the 'breaker' approach it would give you more time to seek out a really good replacement.
Mo, can you get some pics of the affected? I'm just doing some sill work on my 1.7, so will have some pics for you to see what its about at least. Adamsky's offer sounds brilliant though
Probably not of much use but if you wanted somewhere to spray any panels, I have a concrete garage, it is possible to do quite a good job yourself with a bit of practice. I can supply some Merc panels that you can practise on
hope you can repair it mo. looks like a lovely car. a thousand illnesses to the mindless idiots that caused the damage.

Hey Mo, If you do go down the route of repairing, here's some idea's for the panels... Sill panels you can get pretty easily, Hadrian still make them. Good second hand door - there's someone selling used panels on V3M, one may even be the right red... Try Formula Cars for panels too, they have a lot of NOS 300 stuff: . Also a Volvo breakers yeard near bedworth had a 3 door rear quarter panel on their shop wall for ages, contact CHESH740R to see if they have it/what side panel it is/was.
